We built the guide we needed.
Every year, skilled Kenyan nurses and clinical officers reach a wall: qualified, capable, and ready to work in the UK, but facing a registration process — GMC, NMC, HCPC — that's scattered across forums, outdated advice, and guesswork.
NHMi started with people who had already walked that road themselves. Not consultants studying the pathway from the outside, but professionals who sat the same exams, filed the same paperwork, and felt the same uncertainty — and decided the next person shouldn't have to navigate it alone.

Systems and Operations Lead · Registered Clinical Officer (Kenya)
Cliford trained as a Clinical Officer in Kenya before relocating to the United Kingdom, where he encountered a registration system with no clear pathway for his qualifications. He began as a Clinical Support Worker, and later became one of the first professionals to complete the Physician Associate route established by the Leng Review. He founded NHMi to give the next generation of internationally trained professionals a proven, structured path forward. Today, he leads NHMi's systems, coaching and day-to-day operations, so every client gets support grounded in real, lived experience.

Head of Workforce Integration
Ruth brings extensive expertise across human resources, administration and global workforce relations, having guided hundreds of professionals through complex international career transitions. Her focus on process, compliance and individual care underpins the structured, transparent framework that defines NHMi's approach today. She leads workforce integration for NHMi, helping clients settle into UK healthcare roles with confidence, so the transition works not just on paper, but in practice.
